Representatives of the journalist organizations spoke with the requirement to call back from the parliament the bill, which regulate the activity of the mass media, in particular, entering the checking for internet-resource.
According to the words of Tamara Kaleeva – the director of International fund of protection the word “Adil soz”, in the Majilise (Low chamber) of Parliament had entered the bill “About contributing the change and additions in some legislative acts of RK on questions about information-communication networks” where the author who spoke was the agency of informatizations and communications.
“This agency had offered to enter the cruelest censorship on contents of internet-sites. If the contents of foreign mass media disagrees to the Kazakhstan’s legislative acts, so their spreading, by the author’s elaboration on territory of our country must be suspended or stopped,” – explained T. Kaleeva, herewith with the addition that if this bill ill be approved, “blocking sites, by the authority will be conducted on legal base”.
Such way, by the opinion of T. Kaleeva, “the authority tries to curb the whole domestic journalism recovering to the idea which was rejected long time ago, to enter before judicial halt of the mass media”.
